New Jersey is also set to introduce in-person wagering by casinos in 2021. The state lottery is also expected to introduce an alternative to sports betting in 2022. It’s hard to know when sports betting will hit Nevada. However, you can’t rule out other states as a viable option if you’re in the right state for it.
Pennsylvania has allowed online casinos in recent years. While there are still a few legal hurdles, the state is slowly changing attitude towards gambling. The Supreme Court struck down PASPA in 2018, and the US is now more open to sports betting. It’s worth noting that only eight states have legalized online gambling, while three others have expanded their legal options. In addition to online gambling, several states have legalized state-run lotteries.
