Some friends and I were talking this afternoon, and somehow the subject of vacuum cleaners became a topic of conversation. After considerable effort, we managed to turn the conversation into a full-blown discussion about who made the best vacuum cleaner. All sorts of criteria were thrown around to be the best vacuum, like suction power, reliability, and the like. However, in the end common sense and I prevailed.
While others made very persuasive arguments about what constitutes the best vacuum, ultimately it was the simpler reason that made my I-Robot Roomba 610 Pro the clear and obvious winner. Which was the reason? Ok, I’ll tell you. It was sheer laziness, and I’m not too proud to admit it.
I can positively state that the I-Robot Roomba 610 Professional is absolutely and unequivocally the best vacuum cleaner ever produced by a human being. Nothing anyone can say will convince me otherwise. I don’t mind! While he may lack significant power and a transparent vessel, he more than makes up for it with his intelligence and work ethic. No janitor or house cleaner works harder. Also, I can tell you not to come into my computer room and actually listen.
I was lucky enough to receive mine as a gift of a voucher type, from a company I wrote some IT articles for. Mind you, I personally would never spend $600 on a vacuum cleaner; however, it would have been rude of me to refuse to accept the void.
This vacuum cleaner is the coolest, most amazing, wicked thing ever invented. (I think this is the proper vernacular these days.) I write for more hours in a day than I’d like to admit, and I can barely imagine the idea of pushing a broom or vacuuming. Also, since I inevitably always buy the cheapest vacuum I can find, I have to vacuum twice as long; while a better vacuum cleaner would have been much more efficient and convenient. Also, being a closet stingray, I always made sure my vacuum was hidden from the damning eyes of guests and friends. But not anymore!
There are a number of reasons why I think the Roomba 610 Pro is the best vacuum ever made. It’s built like a tank, you can easily program it to go (and not go) and it even recharges itself. I haven’t made physical contact with mine in a couple of months; however, I can hear him purring in the hallway. My cat, however, attacks the robot vacuum from time to time. However, the Roomba doesn’t seem to pay much attention to it.
I-Robot certainly got it right with the Roomba 610 Pro. I don’t see how you mere mortals can survive without one. If you haven’t already guessed, I’m very, very pleased with my robot helper, and I thought everyone should know. Of course, all of the above is my humble opinion and nothing more. However, it is the best vacuum cleaner ever made!
