In Microsoft Excel 2007, you will learn how to manage a cell in a spreadsheet. You are now entering the chapter where you will begin to move around the cursor in a worksheet. It all starts with a cell. How do you handle cells and develop to move using Range in worksheet? This chapter will show you the way.

The most basic step in the worksheet is to select a single cell, it is very simple, where you can place the mouse with a simple click. How about moving from cell A1 to C3? It’s also very simple, just click on cell A1, then on your keyboard, press Arrow, it’s also relatively simple steps.

Here comes the hard part, how about going from A1 to A30000 (Thirty thousand)? A relatively primitive way is to click on A1 and press the down arrow on the keyboard, but this takes time!… This is especially a waste of time if you have to visit A30000 frequently while working on the worksheet.

Let me share with you a simple way.
Step 1 – As usual, click A1
Step 2 – Place your cursor in the reference box.
Step 3: Enter “A30000”
Step 4: Enter
You will immediately find yourself going to cell A30000.

This of course applies to all other cells in the spreadsheet. Let’s select random cells, how about the end of the row, XFD30000? These are the last cells that a cell could have in a column.

Let’s try it, now place the cursor in the reference box again. Type “XFD30000” and then press Enter. You will immediately find your cell in the last cell of the row.

Navigate through the worksheet, you will find this shortcut extremely useful, especially when you are working on a large worksheet that requires you to move the cell.
