Difficult mission for many. However, in order to develop discipline and patience, we must first understand that these two are also directly related to fear and greed.

DISCIPLINE

Discipline can and always has been sabotaged by Kid In us. Tea Kid I hate discipline! He wants to play, explore, be creative, or try new things. Too bored with things that don’t move. You are constantly looking for fun, games, or thrills. And Forex is an incredible playground for excitement.

Therefore, we have to be strict with our Kid. tell our Kid you can’t have fun and games in Forex! The other place where you can’t have fun is at a funeral. He or she can have fun elsewhere, but not at Forex or at the funeral. Thrilla at Forexa & Funera a la Bank!

Therefore, encourage yourself to do three simple things each day. Write them on a whiteboard in your office or bedroom. And if you manage to do these three things every day for five consecutive days, buy yourself a gift on the sixth day.

Do this for a month. As you carry out this mission/reward exercise, you will find that it becomes easier for your Kid to set goals and follow them during your trading as well. Why will this work? simply because our Kid he is a fan of rewards. He or she will do anything if you hang some treats on the end of the stick.

If this doesn’t work, have someone check on you (look over your shoulder), so you’d have to email a short ten line summary of your daily activities at the end of each night, or risk paying a fee! all right!

I am currently monitoring several clients and their discipline has increased tenfold! Your Kid hates paying fines. They would rather pay for monitoring services than pay a fine.

PATIENCE

We lack patience because the “is not right” Kid in you and me needs instant gratification. We need a quick fix, NOW! The solution could be anything other than earning on Forex. Trading is just a feel-good vehicle, in case we win. But the vehicle could be a promotion at work, someone you fall madly in love with, or anything else that makes us feel happy or elated.

He is not well” Kid, as defined in transactional analysis, has been seeking instant gratification since early childhood when we first came to the mistaken conclusion that we are “not okay” or inferior. Years of being reprimanded or criticized lead us to feel like we’re not good enough, so we unconsciously seek acceptance.

To be “OK” you need MONEY. Money allows you to acquire things. To eat in great restaurants, live in fancy neighborhoods, but most importantly, to be accepted by others. So it is deeper than you think, as this early conclusion often rules and triggers our feelings of greed and fear. Fear of the unknown. Fear of losing good things, of not having enough. We always want more because these naughty, subconscious hit-and-run thoughts known as monkeys it keeps coming over and over again causing feelings you can’t control.

No matter who you are or what you do, a small group of these thoughts: You want to/You can’t/What’s going to happen?/You’re going to loseknown as the Gang of Four (G4), it’s waiting for you and me the moment we wake up.

These thought thieves roam the dark alleys of our mind and when they hit us, we spill out negative feelings and emotions. Therefore, our decision to fight them would depend on how badly they hit us in the past. The greater your suffering at the hands of these unintelligent thoughts, the greater your motivation to overcome them.

Hey, didn’t I tell you? can not control them?

IF WE CAN!

Anytime you feel greedy, just scream loud in your head: GREED! YOU ARE GREEDY!!! This would immediately freeze the bun in the act.

You’re in the first stage, or the realization stage, when you’re able to feel greedy by jumping the gun when all the indicators aren’t showing yet. You either find yourself over-trading, or doubling down, or just plain impatient!

Now, that’s just the first stage. There are three stages: Realization / Decision / Action.

Realizing that we are always trying to get a quick fix to make up for the burden of “not being okay” that we carry around with us is just a step forward in developing discipline and patience. Next you have to make a decision. OK, so we’ve identified the monkeys who have been stalking and screwing us over. What are we going to do with them? If we don’t decide to stop them, they will drive those feelings of greed and fear back into us again.

So you want to ask yourself who is in charge. Tea monkeys or you!

If you don’t decide who is in control, you will forever be a slave to them. monkeys. You have to make a serious decision who is the boss. Tea monkeys or you!

99% of people don’t even know they are slaves to their internal aggressors. Imagine a man being attacked from behind by a real physical thief. They beat him brutally and he falls to the ground. He then he gets up and continues to wobble. Not even turning back to see who that mugger was.

A week later he is robbed again in that same rugged neighborhood, and again walks away without turning back to identify his attackers. Is it some kind of mannequin, you ask? But 99% of the people who were psychologically attacked and felt frustration, revenge, stress and other deadly emotions do not know who their internal aggressors are. Simply because we were NEVER taught who they are, or how to identify or disarm them.

Now that we have decided to do something, we need to turn this decision into action! Any time you feel impatient, get up and walk away from the screen. Take a bath. Make yourself a drink. Call your mother in law ;-). Look through the window. Go for a walk. Put on your favorite CD. Volunteer to help your spouse with some chores. Do anything but watch your charts!

Your impatience would fade as you focus your attention elsewhere. Imagine receiving good news over the phone. Would you still feel impatient? Your attention would be miles away from the trade! Your real goal is to feel good and there are hundreds of vehicles to get you there besides Forex. So the second moment impatience creeps in, switch your attention or focus elsewhere. You will regain immediate control over the monkeys when you do this Try it!

You may also want to take a whirlwind visit to all three worlds. They are different states of mind.

The first “World” is a world of detachment where you project from a distance and look back at your physical body in the room or wherever you are. Imagine that you are a spider on the wall, or better yet, you are dead and floating on the ceiling. Then look at yourself. Now, how important is this life that you are living, now that you are dead?

After a few moments, enter the second “World” – be here and now. Look around you as if you just landed from Mars. Focus intensely on the things you see around you as if it were the first time. You are now entering the “World” of consciousness. This moment is the moment when you can see, hear and feel. You are aware of the present. You are here and now!

Next, a quick visit to the third “World”, an ocean of subconscious thoughts. Navigate some positives: think about what you have and what you can do with what you have. Just think for a moment about the wonderful things you can do with what you have now. If you are thirsty, you can drink; if you want to call someone, you can. If you want to go see a movie, you can… The list may be a mile long, but just browsing a thought or two of thanks is enough to make you feel extremely good. And then, back to the first “World”…

This round trip to “Worlds” 1, 2 and 3 can be repeated as many times as you like. You’ll only be spending a few minutes at a time, but you’ll feel much lighter and more relaxed throughout the day.

I hope this helps!
