Funny how some of the brightest minds don’t start out that way. For those of you who don’t know this truth, let me name just a few. Albert Einstein. Thomas Edison. Bill Gates and even Henry Ford, these men are excellent examples of individuals who were not exactly considered outstanding students! Einstein wasn’t even speaking at the age of 6, Edison dropped out of school, Bill Gates dropped out of college without a degree, and Henry Ford was taken to a courtroom to try to prove he was an idiot – no kidding, it really happened! ! Dr. Demartini himself was labeled “slow” and told that he had never read beyond a lower grade school level, or that it would never become too much. Can you imagine being the one who says that to one of these guys? What a blow that would be! Personally, I would like to get into a hole and never get out if I had made such a mistake.

Dr. DeMartini did not listen to those who say no, and luckily for us, he became a Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinical Research. I think it’s a wonderful achievement considering that in addition to being labeled a learning disability, I had so much more to overcome. At the age of 14, John dropped out of high school and became homeless, in addition to begging in the streets for anything he could get as a way to survive. At 17 he had a near death experience … and that seemingly tragic event served as a catalyst that changed everything in his life, resulting in a complete 180 degree turn in his thinking and the way he had been. living your life before. to a near fatal ingestion of strychnine.

When he awoke from that experience, he promised himself to become a “teacher, healer, and philosopher.” to change things for yourself internally in your mind, body and spirit. These are the reasons why he became a Doctor: the “healer” part of his promise, a Speaker “to master the art of teaching” and also became a student of Philosophy, Science and Theology “to understand our connection with the Divine “. He has spent the past 30 years fulfilling his promise and challenging as well as changing the way most people think on a day-to-day basis. Now his partnership with The Secret is helping him reach more people than before.

As I looked at his past, present, and future accomplishments and intentions, I realized that how many other people would have given up on his shoes? How many of them would have made the kind of change that Dr. DeMartini did? How many more people are living lives unopposed to their current circumstances? What I mean by that last question is how many people are simply “settling” for the life they are living? How many more will never reach their full potential? How many more will? Johns’ story can serve as a great testament to the inner strength that lies deep within each and every one of us … if we just looked deep enough, went low enough, and got high enough, I’d be willing to bet the farm. We could all succeed in being better, happier, and even healthier, in our minds and hearts, you know what I’m hinting at here, after all, those are the places that determine our sense of worth and satisfaction to begin with! You do not agree?
