Mastiff puppies look a lot like teenagers and go through a rebellious phase in their lives when they are still young. I know this because my two mastiff puppies went through this rebellious period. To me, it seemed like they were actually teenagers because every chance they got they tried to test the limits to find out exactly what they could get away with and what they couldn’t get away with. However, here are some ways that you can handle a rebellious Mastiff puppy and correct it the way you want it to be.

The first way you can correct this problem is by sticking to your rules. If your pet detects that you have any feeling of giving up any ground, it will take advantage of it and push the envelope to the point where the seal is ready to break and then when it breaks you will have even more problems to recover them. up to the point where you started, if you can get there.

The second way to help solve this problem is to have them take a first or second obedience course. I know that for some of us this can be expensive, but it is possible to do so because it will help you learn how to correct the behavior quickly and you won’t have to worry about them creating even more problems for you. Therefore, I would highly recommend using an obedience training course and maintaining your position.
